Our Legal Services

Youth Legal Service provides free legal services to children and young people (under 25 years of age) residing in Western Australia. 

 

Children and young people can access our legal advice line during office hours, for the cost of a local telephone call or call our free 1800 number:

Perth: 9202 1688

 

We also provide court representation services within the Perth metropolitan area. 

 

Unfortunately, our court representation service is currently restricted to Children’s Court matters.

Advice

Youth Legal Service provides legal advice subject to capacity. If matters are not within our areas of expertise we can provide a referral.

Representation

Youth Legal Service provides representation on criminal matters and traffic offences for children and young people under 25 years of age, for offences within Western Australia.

Education

Youth Legal Service provides community legal education (CLE) that aims to increase community awareness and understanding of legal issues affecting young people.
