What age can I get a driver’s licence?
You can apply for a Learner’s Permit to drive a car once you are 16 and get a licence from the age of 17.
You can apply for a Learner’s Permit to drive a moped (scooter) once you are 15½ and get a licence from the age of 16.
You can get a Learner’s Permit earlier and a driver’s licence before 17 with special permission if you have undue hardship and need to drive.
